The Just Debate is taking place for the first time as part of this year's Just Action conference. It's going to be a great evening and a chance for young adults to get together and discuss an important issue in a fun and informative way.
The theme of the debate is whether 'a vegetarian diet is the appropriate lifestyle response for Christians who care for all of creation.' Special guest, environmental and biblical ethicist Dr Andrew Shepherd will share on the subject, and the debate will feature cadets from Booth College of Mission and be moderated by Stewart Irwin.
The event will run from 7-9pm on Tuesday, October 1st, and will be held at Wellington City Corps, 92 Vivian Street, Wellington.
It's just a koha for entry, and supper is included as part of the event.
Although attending all of Just Action will be well worth your while if you're able to, the Just Debate is open to all young adults and registration is not required. For more information on Just Action and to register for the full conference, visit the webpage here.
