IN YOUR AREA

HOW THINGS WORK.

The Salvation Army New Zealand, Fiji, Tonga, and Samoa Territory is made up of five divisions and two regions.

An 'area' refers to the group of corps (churches) and centers within a geographical sector and simply helps organize the bigger structure.

Our five areas are Northern (upper North Island), Midland (middle North Island), Central (lower North Island), Southern (South Island), and Fiji (all Fiji islands). Tonga and Samoa are included as 'regions', as they are slightly smaller.

Each area has a team member who oversees all the youth work in that area. These people are an important part of the Territorial Youth Team, which also includes our Territorial Youth Secretary and central HQ team who oversee the big picture stuff.

MEET THE YOUTH DEPT.

The Youth Department works from Territorial Headquarters in Wellington. We’re passionate about young people and leaders - learn about our team and strategy to make youth work the best it can be in our Territory.
