The Salvation Army’s Blue Mountain Adventure Centre (BMAC) has a one-year paid Apprenticeship starting early 2023 based at Raurimu, Central North Island.
We’re looking for someone who is keen to learn and has a heart for seeing people grow through the challenge of adventure. This role would suit someone entering the workforce, is involved with The Salvation Army and has a passion to help people have the best possible experience at BMAC, by being welcoming, supportive, and ensuring safety.
You’ll be working and learning alongside our great team of outdoor instructors and support staff. If you have some experience and skills in the outdoors that would be great, but it’s not essential. The apprenticeship will include both work at BMAC, and study towards Nationally recognized outdoor qualifications, and hopefully, that will challenge you physically, mentally, and spiritually. The apprenticeship will lead to opportunities for a career in the outdoors industry!
